The Annual ICT day of Viharamaha Devi Balika Vidyalaya- Kiribathgoda, DESORMAIS 2010 was held glamorously on 27th March, 2010 at the school premises. The programme had few presentations, Dancing items, songs, dramas as well as two lectures. Lecture by Dr. Shiromi Arunathilaka , Senior lecture at university of Colombo (ICT department ) about “future computing” helped a lot in increasing the knowledge of students participated on this occasion. The students and teachers who joined this event stated that the lecture delivered by Dr. Nuwan Kodagoda of SLITT on “Artificial intelligence and neural networks” also became very meaningful for them.

ICT students from about 20 schools plus teachers participated on this occasion while institutions dealing with ICT sponsored the event. Especially our sincere thanks are extended to DIGIT magazine for becoming our main sponsor. Magazine “DIGIT” and their CD were also distributed among invitees, teachers and students of VBV ICT society. Certificates were also awarded on this day for the winners of Quiz competition / Animation competition/ software competition / Graphic designing competition held in inter school level/ Digital drawing competition held for the of VBV primary section all organized by Viharamaha Devi ICT society.
