The first GLK e-Sports Triathlon took place on the 14th of August 2010 at Ground Zero. Close to 10 teams took part in this tournament which tested a bold new format based on an athletics triathlon. Teams were put into one draw regardless of what game they were comfortable with, which pit Counter Strike 1.6 teams against Call of Duty 4 and DOTA teams. Tie-breakers were played on a random console game which kept excitement high and added a unique fun-factor to the tournament. All-round skill was rewarded, and being exceedingly good at one game got you only 1/3rd of the way.

The semi-finals saw two teams from clan Maximum Gamers and two teams from Death Company battling it out for a place in the finals. Death Company's abilities in all three games, CS 1.6, COD4 and DOTA pushed them ahead in both semi-final matches. MAX 1 was defeated by DC:COD in a Halo 3 tie-breaker which was dominated by Death Company. MAX 2 was beaten at both CS and DOTA by DC 2, who moved onto the finals where they faced their brother team DC:COD.

The finals was a battle between Death Company's Call of Duty 4 team and a mixed team of Counter Strike 1.6 and DOTA players. DC:COD chose Call of Duty 4 as their first game and proceeded to wipe the floor with their opponents, winning the match 13 - 0. DC 2 chose DOTA as their game of choice, which they managed to win convincingly in under 30 minutes. With a 1 - 1 score, the tie-breaker was to be played on the action 1v1 game Street Fighter 4.

The match-ups were as follows:

Sharingan vs JACKAL

Chaos vs Loki

Suniya vs Joker

Sabreen vs Ghost

Munky vs Savage

Death Company 2 won the Street Fighter 4 tie breaker with a score of 3 - 1 and collected their winnings of Rs. 10,000 on the spot. Congratulations to Death Company and all the teams that took part for being a part of this unique event.
