The South Asian Mobile Content Conference and Workshop will be held on June 10 and 11 in Colombo.

Over 25 high-level speakers from around the world will share their views and strategic considerations at this first South Asian event on the fast developing subject of mobile content. The topics dealt with will include mobile content market trends and development, mobile applications, enabling rich content to mobile consumers, mobile content marketing and revenue modules in mobile applications.

The Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA), which functions under the Presidential Secretariat, will host this first-ever South Asian Mobile Content Conference and Workshop in partnership with Etisalat (Pvt) Ltd and hSenid Mobile. This event is being held in conjunction with the Grand Jury sittings of the Region’s first mobile content award mBillionth 2010 - which is being hosted by ICTA in Colombo.

The mBillionth award 2010 offers opportunity for developers of mobile content in Sri Lanka to nominate worthy projects in mobile content innovation and service delivery.
