We are about to tap into the full potential of pen and touch computing. Soon we will give up keyboards and start interacting with computers as part of our natural tool set, using pen, touch and voice. Recent advances in hardware and software makes this possible as prices continue to come down on digitizer technologies and we make tremendous advances in developing smart algorithms for recognizing and interpreting what we write or draw on a computer. We are no longer bounded by limited interfaces provided by current software, but will have the ability to freely express ourselves using these new interfaces. In this talk, Ananda will discuss his latest research findings and demonstrate how they will make computers more human friendly.
